In the sacred silence of farewell, Darlene is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Darlene's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Oscar Pickering and Bessie Pickering; her husband Joe Ellis Barnett; her children, Cindy Barnett and Sterling; her daughter-in-law Paula Barnett; her grandchild Dr. Jami Barnett; her great grandchild Mike Foley of Seneca; her granddaughter Rachel Weaver (Aaron); and her great grandchildren, Emma and Madeline of Arkansas.
Visitation was held on Monday, January 20th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Family Home (505 Oneida St, Seneca, MO 64865). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, January 21st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Warren's Branch Baptist Church (9166 Antelope Rd, Seneca, MO 64865).
