She was predeceased by: her parents, Earl Lankford and Bernice Lankford (Lawhon); her husband Charles E. Barnes; her son Steven Barnes; her siblings, Max Lankford and Ruthie Sherwood; and her nephew Jerry Sherwood.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles Barnes (Tim), Mark Barnes and Michael Barnes; and her sisters, Carolyn Barnes and Linda Bruns. She is also survived by great-grandchildren.
