He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Fritz and Zena Fritz (Cox); his spouse Lorma Groves; and his siblings, Wendell, Bobby, Ellis, William Gordon, Jr., Clifford Fritz, Billie Ann Braden and Helen Booker.
He is survived by: his children, David Fritz (Susan) of Kansas City, Missouri. and Debra Fritz-Pinkney (Phillip) of Bloomington, Illinois.; his grandchildren, Andre Pinkney, Kathryn, Sarah, Ryan and Maria Fritz; and his sister Margie Singer of Walnut Ridge.
