He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Lee and Effie Mae Horton (Vaughn); his children, Donetta Williams and David Horton; his siblings, Loretta Baumgardner, Leota Welch and Edward Horton; his grandson Christopher Morris Stover; and his great grandchild Carley Hammers.
He is survived by: his daughter Debby Stover (Dale) of Washburn, Missouri; and his son-in-law Doug Williams of Seligman, Missouri. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
