He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilburn Wendel and Frieda Schlegel Wendel; his former wife Patsy Wendel; and his sister Donna McDowell. He is survived by: his children, Angie Scott of Jackson, Chris Wendel of Sedgewickville and Darrin Wendel of Sedgewickville; and his grandchildren, Caleb Wendel, Dylan Scott, Haleigh Wendel, Lucas Wendel and Taylor Scott.
