It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilma Jean Hale of Sedalia, Missouri, born in Arkansas City, Kansas, who passed away on June 20, 2023, at the age of 76, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her mother Cora Banister (Stephens); her husband James D. Hale; and her siblings, Marvin Banister, Beverly Peterson, Navela Banister and Pauline Simpson.
She is survived by: her father Paul Banister; her children, Tena Banister of Holt, MO, Teletha Caudill of Hamilton, OH, James Hale Jr. of Hominy, OK, Steven Hale (Lesa) of Kansas City, KS, Stella Hicks (late Carl) of Kansas City, MO, Angela Sykes of Buckner, MO, Cherry Wineland (late Tony) of California, MO, William Hale (Kristen) of Shawnee, KS and Tracie Hale of Sedalia, MO; and her brothers, Paul Banister, Jr. of Osceola, MO and Melvin Banister of Arkansas City, KS.. She is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
