William E. Shive Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William E. Shive of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur A. "Mac" McElroy and Vivian Kathleen Krebs McElroy; his wife Carolyn J. Minshall; and his sisters, Jo Ann Herbert and Linda Sue Powell.
He is survived by: his sons, Dwayne G. Shive (Sara Dunn) of Sedalia and Billy Shive of Sedalia; his grandchildren, Aaron Shive (Ashley), Kelby Shive (Leah) and Madison Rohner (Matthew); his great grandchildren, Carolyn Shive, Charlotte Shive, Braxton Rohner, Peyton Shive and Brayden Rohner; and his siblings, Art McElroy of Egin, Henry "Sonny" Shive of Glasgow and Betty Lou Ferkenhoff.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Roberson Funeral Home (305 N Broadway St, Princeton, MO 64673). The military honors was held on Tuesday, January 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Princeton Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to Missouri Veterans Home in Warrensburg in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel in Sedalia.
