He was predeceased by: his parents, Milo Pillars and Rosemary Pillars (Rakers); and his siblings, Donna Jackson and Robert "Bob" Pillars. He is survived by: his wife Mary Ruth Hunter; and his siblings, Barbara Pillars of Sedalia and Larry Joe Pillars of Marshall, MO. He is also survived by nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and friends.
