She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred W. Brown and Katherine R. Brown (Meyer); her husband Richard D. Griffith; her son Allen Leroy Griffith; and her siblings, Lyle Brown, Thelma Sharlene Schreck, Ray Brown and Michael Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Pam Bird (Richard) of Sedalia and Ron Griffith (Bonnie) of Lincoln; her siblings, Madelyn Blacksten of Excelsior, Don Brown (Terry) of California and Beverly Ashley of Clarksburg; her sister-in-law Dianne Brown of Latham; and her grandchildren, Greg Bird (Caitlin), Jennifer Griffith, Tim Bird (Katlyn) and Alex Griffith. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heckart Funeral Home & Cremation Services (903 S Ohio Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, April 12th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Smithton Cemetery.
