We bid farewell to Ronald Scott Ridgeway of Sedalia, Missouri, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on April 22, 2025 at the age of 61. Ronald Scott touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his father Delbert R. Ridgeway; his stepparents, John Heyer and June Ridgeway; and his nephew Andy Gill. He is survived by: his mother Dorothy J Heyer (Stout); his spouse R. Christopher Southers; his daughter Jennifer Ridgeway; his siblings, Brett Ridgeway (Robin), Linda Russell (Andy) and Lisa Dunn (Marvin); his stepsisters, Jennine Brandt-Weis (Tom), Justine Neinhiser (Steve), Samantha Ullman (John) and Andrea Ridgeway (Eric); and the mother of his child Elaine Horn. He is also survived by 35 nieces and nephews; 27 great-nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Monday, April 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301).
Memorial contributions may be made to The American Cancer Society in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
