He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Folk Burke; and his daughter Angela McCasland. He is survived by: his mother Helen Vanessa (Hughes); his wife Donna Kay Lysinger of Sedalia; his daughters, Launa (Tina Brooke) of Carrollton and Christina (Allen) of Sweet Springs; his brother Larry Burke of Fleming Island, FL; his grandchildren, Cybill Christine Stewart (Matt), Dakota Dalton White, Trevor Burke Phillips, Emily Morgan Phillips and Wade Allen Phillips; and his great grandchildren, Kade Erickson Stewart and Reid Eli Stewart.

Memorial contributions may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church or State Fair Community College Athletic Booster Club.
