Richard Parkhurst Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Richard Parkhurst of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on March 2, 2024 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William Robert and Mildred Lucille Parkhurst (Fitch); and his brother Marvin "David" Parkhurst. He is survived by: his wife Judy Arlene Downey; and his children, Susan Kay Kromrie (Ken) of Warrensburg, Amy Kathleen Reine (Terry) of Independence, Richard Steven Parkhurst (Trina) of Sedalia, Jonathan Crockett Parkhurst (Michelle) of Sedalia and David Houston Parkhurst (Stephanie) of Sedalia. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Richard & Judy Parkhurst Endowed Scholarship at State Fair Community College, First Christian Church, or Boy Scouts of America.
