He was predeceased by: his parents, Charley Combs and Sarah Combs (McNeal); his wife Mary Ruth; and his siblings, Charles and Linda Homan.

He is survived by: his children, Christy Goodman (Mickey), Kevin (Loletta), Kenneth (Terri) and Carla Curry (Bill).
