He was predeceased by: his mother Nancy E. Kirby (Pryor); and his brother Steve Kirby. He is survived by: his father David F. Kirby; his daughter Katie Kirby (Matthew Hawk) of Sedalia; his granddaughter Hazel Hawk; his former wife Nicki Crase; and his close friend Linda Heydt.
