With solemn reverence, we commemorate Pattie Thorp of Sedalia, Missouri, born in Saint Louis, Missouri, whose life came to an end on September 1, 2024 at the age of 93, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Charles Altwater and Ida Altwater (Schmidt); her sisters, Mildred Shotola and Mary Ann Gutwein; and her stepbrothers, Charles Stacy and Dr. Bill Stacy.
She is survived by: her sons, W. Charles Thorp (Delores) of Lee's Summit, MO and Edward Thorp (LeeAnn) of Olathe, KS; her grandchildren, Lukas Thorp and Devin Squires (Paden); and her brother Lynn Stacy. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
She was a past member of the Elks Ladies, Animal Fair (a small animal rescue group), RSVP, Be Forever Young, and the Senior Center.
Memorials are suggested to St. Croix Hospice or Heartland Hospice, in care of Heckart Funeral Home in Sedalia.
