It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Joan Wiechen of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on August 1, 2024, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the vast expanse of eternity, Mary Joan shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Mary Joan farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Mason Riley and Marguerite Riley (Lutjen); her husband Charles E. Wiechen; and her siblings, Dorothy Canfield and William Riley.
She is survived by: her son Paul Wiechen of Sedalia; and her sister Ruth Dillingham of Warrensburg. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
