We are sad to announce that on October 26, 2024 we had to say goodbye to Mary E. Folkerts of Sedalia, Missouri, born in Tipton, Missouri. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Clifford Pedego and Kathryn Pedego (Wolf); and her husband Carl L. Folkerts, Jr.. She is survived by: her daughters, Lori Ciersdorff (Mark) of Overland Park, KS, Lynn Weber (Dave) of Camdenton, MO and Carla Jones (Dan) of Weatherby Lake, MO; her grandchildren, Ali Russo (Connor), Tessa Weber, Maeven Weber, Greta Jones and Levi Jones; and her siblings, Lee Pedego (Cherie) of Parkville, MO, Jill Pilkenton (Carmine) of Torgiano and Joy Fairley (Mike) of Parkville, MO. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (3700 W Broadway Blvd, Sedalia, MO 65301). A memorial service was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the same location. The inurnment was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at 3600 E 28th St, Sedalia, MO 65301.
The family suggests memorial contributions to Daum Museum or Camp Blue Sky, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
