She was predeceased by: her parents, Sidney Carl Mefford and Frances Anna Louise Mefford (Keltner); her husband Richard Wade Pettis; and her son Brian Pettis. She is survived by: her children, Michael Pettis (Amanda Davis) of Sedalia and Heather Wilson (Josh) of Satellite Beach, FL; her grandchildren, Ryder Pettis, Scarlett Pettis, Addison Guffin, Ella Brown, Olen Pettis, Brody Gerlach, Piper Gerlach, Liam Wilson and Lyla Wilson; her siblings, Phillip Mefford (Connie) of Sedalia, Thomas Mefford (Angel) of Sedalia, David Mefford (Ramona) of Sedalia, Rebecca Tharp of Mahomet, IL and Martha Mefford of Sedalia; and her daughter-in-law Amanda Pettis. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. The inurnment will be held on Friday, March 21st 2025 from 2:30 PM to 2:45 PM at the Crown Hill Cemetery (701 N Engineer Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301).
