It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mary Ann Grott of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on October 21, 2023, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Mary Ann Grott to pay them a last tribute.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmo Elder and Sophia Elder (Esselman); her son James Grott; and her siblings, Gladys Romann, Merida Anderson, Dorothy Elder, Audrey Elder, Elmo "Bud" Elder, Glennon Elder and George Elder.

She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Grott; her brother Linus Elder (Nellie) of Waterloo, Illinois; her children, Julie Cook (Roger), Cynthia Bohn (James) and William Grott; and her grandchildren, Adam Grott (Anna), Damian Cook (Edie), Lauren Bohn Radman (Ivan), Diana Cook and Brittany Bohn.

The family suggests memorial donations be made to Sacred Heart Foundation, 421 West Third Street, Sedalia, MO 65301, or the charity of your choice.
