She was predeceased by: her parents, Lewis Hammond and Irene Hammond; her brother Lewis Hammond Jr.; and her former husband Joseph L. Reine, Jr. (Jody). She is survived by: her husband Earl W. South; her sons, Steve Reine (Linda) of Blue Springs and Terry Reine (Kathy) of Independence; her stepdaughters, Shanah Johnson (Joel) and Amber Noelle Selby (Mike) of Greenwood, IN; her grandchildren, Justin Reine (Jeanette), Skyler Reine (Amanda), Austin Reine, Ambrea Reine, Heather Medlin (David) and Todd Conn; her stepgranddaughters, Amy Selby and Kari Johnson; and her great grandchildren, Hunter Fletcher, Joseph and Jason Reine.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer's Association or Hopewell Cemetery in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
