She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence Thompson and Lola Thompson (Hunsperger); her sons, Marvin and Leroy Schumaker; her siblings, Madeline Byrd, Barbara Thompson and Larry Thompson; and her grandson Justin Fogarty.
She is survived by: her significant other John Frederick Schumaker; her children, Jeanette Davis (Sam) of Sedalia, Randy Schumaker of Sedalia and Keith Schumaker (Tonya) of Sedalia; and her grandchildren, Christy Schumaker, Brandy Schumaker, Jessica Wheeler, Lynette Schumaker, Lance Wheeler, Ashley Schumaker and Anthony Schumaker. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
