He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil G. Lappat and Frances M. Lappat (Shoemaker); his brother James Lappat; and his stepgrandson Daylon Parish. He is survived by: his siblings, Cheryl Curry (Fred) of Otterville, Mark Lappat (Colleen) of Sedalia and Jerry Lappat of Sedalia; his sister-in-law Lillie Monteer; his stepsons, Dusty Parish (Jamie) and Josh Keeran; and his stepgranddaughters, Skyler, Brianna and Desirea. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
