He was predeceased by: his parents, John Rush and Elsie Rush (Brannen); and his stepmother Grace Rush. He is survived by: his daughter Gale Payne Burton of Missouri; his sister Lena; his stepsister Deloris Oelrichs of Sedalia, MO; his niece Roberta Williams; his great-nephews, Tristen, Cameron and Emery Williams; and also Clinton. He is also survived by two granddaughters; one great-granddaughter.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Heckart Funeral Home & Cremation Services (903 S Ohio Ave, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, February 26th 2025 at the Highland Sacred Gardens Cemetery (3600 E 28th St, Sedalia, MO 65301).
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
