The memory of Joyce Leigh Franklin of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on September 22, 2024 at the age of 84, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell K. Evans and Reba Evans (Raines); and her husband Donald F. Franklin. She is survived by: her daughters, Doneta Handley (James) of Sedalia and Cyndrea Lambert of Carrollton; her grandchildren, Evan Handley (Brea), Aron Handley, Shayne Lambert (Maggie) and Skyler Lambert (Courtney); her great grandchildren, Taylen, Tayona, Taydin, Corbin, Joshua, Nora, Hunter, Mowgli, Elleanndra and CheyLee; her brother Randy Evans (Debbie) of Jefferson City, MO; her nephews, Ryan Evans (Erin) and Chris Evans (Katya); and her niece Amy Henderson (Scott). She is also survived by six great nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 1:30 PM and from 2:45 PM to 3:00 PM.
Memorial contributions may be made to First United Methodist Church, Thompson location, in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
