As John departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved John. Though John may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles C. Cover and Beulah Lee Cover; and his wife Virginia Ruth Ruffin. He is survived by: his children, Charles Chester Cover of Sedalia, John Russell Cover of Smithton, Kathi Johnson of Sedalia and Cindy Cover of Columbia. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
