He was predeceased by: his mother Annabelle Parker (Ream); his wife Jolene Miesner; and his brothers, Richard E. Parker of Sedalia, MO. and James M. Parker (Jimmy) of Sedalia, MO.. He is survived by: his father Ovid Dale; his friends, Paul Young, Jerry Paige and Don Jurgenson; his children, Jennifer S. Franklin of Corder, MO and J. D. Parker (Jennifer M. Parker) of Hughesville, MO; and his sisters, Diana Dennis of Tulsa, OK and Rebecca Hudson (Susie) of Sedalia, MO. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 6:45 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Sedalia Animal Shelter, or Lucas Oil Speedway in Wheatland, MO, in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
