She was predeceased by: her parents, Chester Carl Jones and Ardith Jane Jones (Kiser); her son Richard Schmidt, Jr.; and her sister Carlene Jones. She is survived by: her husband Robert Preston Tucker; her children, Jason Schmidt (Heidi) of Sedalia, Dustin Schmidt (Emily) of Sedalia, Casey Schmidt (Grant Leeka) of Sedalia, Jarrett Tucker (Ashley) of Sedalia, Jeff Tucker of Green Ridge, MO and Tim Draper of Holden, MO; her grandchildren, Karly (Brandon), Storme, Jackson, Kaelynn, Charles and Oliver; her great grandchildren, Charlotte and Madison; and her siblings, Chester Jones, Vern Jones and Debbie Johnson. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests that memorial contributions be made to the Boys and Girls Club of West Central Missouri in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
