He is survived by: his close friend Sheila McCray; his children, Lasonja Richardson (Edward) of Douglasville, Nicole Evans of St. Paul Minnesota and Kent Cline of Columbia; his sisters, Evette Dumas of St. Louis, Coraletha Thomas (Keith) of St. Louis, Donna Montgomery of St. Louis and Arlene Montgomery of St. Louis; his grandchildren, James (Maria), Edward Jr., Thomas (April), Nawab (Alicia), Barbara (John) and Malek; and his friends, Victor, Curtis, Doug and Byron. He is also survived by great grandchildren, cousins.
