He was predeceased by: his parents, Elvis J. Esselman and Rosalie Gertrude Esselman (Beinlien); his brother Ronald J.; and his sister-in-law Carolyn Esselman. He is survived by: his sons, James Esselman, Jr. (Emily) of Smithton and Dustin Esselman of Sedalia; his brother Bill Esselman (Patty) of Indianapolis, IN; and his grandchildren, Zack, Amelia and Lillian Esselman. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
