He was predeceased by: his parents, John Drexler and Blanche Drexler (Tesson); and his granddaughter Stephanie Sackman. He is survived by: his wife Dolores Huitt; and his children, Diane Sackman (Donald), Robert Drexler, Thomas Drexler, James Drexler and Michael Drexler (Laura). He is also survived by his eleven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
