He was predeceased by: his parents, Forrest E Hood and Susie May Hood (Talley); and his siblings, Raymond Hood (Pat), James M. Hood, Wayne L. Hood, Norma Bishop and Betty McNeal.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Hood; his children, Christopher Hood of Las Vegas, NV and Catherine Rourke of Friendswood, TX; and his stepchildren, Michael Dick of Kauai, HI, Victor Dick of Vanzant, MO and Roxanne Herrick of Sedalia, MO. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hopewell Cemetery Association in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
