Georgia Anna left this world on March 24, 2025 at the age of 91, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Cornelius Brown Farris and Edna Idella Farris (Gower); her brother Parnell Farris; her half-siblings, Suedy Lou Hancock and Velter Anderson, Jr.; and her grandson Dallis Edwin Walker.
She is survived by: her children, Idella Watring (Travis) of Otterville, Paulena Rhodes of Cole Camp, Austin Lewis (Dawn) of Sedalia, Max Lewis (Wanda Jesse) of Columbia and John Lewis (Debi); her stepdaughter Sharon Franks of Sedalia; and also Velter Anderson. She is also survived by six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held on Friday, March 28th 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at the Memorial Park Cemetery (3306 Greenridge Rd, Sedalia, MO 65301).
In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts are recommended to Calvary Baptist Church, in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
