She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Ahne and Elizabeth Welsch Ahne; her husband Paul S. Fortune; her grandson Matthew Fortune; and her brother Joseph Ahne.

She is survived by: her children, Pam Fortune (Joe Hunt) of Sedalia, Chuck Fortune (Donna) of Columbia, Teresa Fortune of Sedalia, Mary Beth Reid (Bob) of Houstonia and Paula Fortune (Wayne Gray) of Sedalia; and her sisters, Frances Barth of Innsbrook, MO and Mary Ann Jasko of Avon Lake, OH.. She is also survived by 8 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren and a great great-grandson.

The family suggests memorials to St. Patrick Catholic Church, in care of McLaughlin Funeral Chapel.
