He was predeceased by: his mother Margaret Ann Bode (Roling). He is survived by: his father Cletus Bernard Bode; his wife Dianne Mary Wurtz; his children, Stephen Joseph Bode St (Lila) and Sarah Jo Eisenmenger (Spencer) of Parkville, MO; his grandchildren, Bode Eisenmenger, Reese Eisenmenger, Olivia Bode and Bridget Bode; his sisters, Janet Evers of Jefferson City, MO and Jean Brandt (Nelson) of Chamois, MO; his nephews, Matt Evers, Tim Evers, Richard Brandt and Randy Brandt; and his niece Becky Adler.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM and from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM. A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, November 12th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church (421 W 3rd St, Sedalia, MO 65301).
Memorial contributions may be made to Sacred Heart School Foundation or State Fair Community College Foundation in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
