He is survived by: his children, Dilana Franklin (James) of Sedalia, MO, Ronald Van Buren (Alexis) of Bellwood, PA and Tynessa Van Buren of Lee's Summit, MO; his stepchildren, Carolyn Renee Franklin (Tony) of Sedalia, MO, Adrian Young (Melanie) of Wellington, KS, Veronica Sims of Sedalia, MO, Kardell Sims (Danika) of St. Joseph, MO and Marshall Sims (Kami) of Sedalia, MO; his aunt Betty Van Buren; his uncles, William Van Buren (Dagnar) and Elmer Van Buren (Katherine); and his good buddy Chris Staten. He is also survived by thirty-five grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM and from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Rea Funeral Chapel (3510 W 16th St, Sedalia, MO 65301).
