DeWayne touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank H. Duncan and Lucile E. Duncan (Hackler); his wife Mildred (Long); and his son Dana Duncan. He is survived by: his children, Delwyn Duncan (Mary) of Centralia and Darla Steele (Donald) of Smithton; his grandchildren, Nelae Steele, Amber Klusmeyer, LaKala Powers, Devan Duncan, Nicole Duncan and Bryce Steele; and his great grandchildren, Penelope Powers, Aubrey, Braylee and Cannon Klusmeyer.

Visitation was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at the Wesley United Methodist Church (1322 W Broadway Blvd, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, January 18th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location.
