Delbert L. Steffens Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Delbert L. Steffens of Sedalia, Missouri, who passed away on November 11, 2024 at the age of 95. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Steffens and Emma Mueller Steffens of Cole Camp, MO; his wife Mildred L. Sander of Alma, MO.; his brothers, Arnold and Harold; and his son-in-law Wes Sydow.
He is survived by: his children, James (Linda), Janet (Anthony) and Rebecca (Craig Otto); his grandchildren, Zachery (Amy), Jacob Steffens (Elizabeth), Emma Auger (Chris), Vincent Otto (Dana) and Abigail Torres; and his great grandchildren, Atticus Steffens, Teddy Auger and Fitz Steffens. He is also survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, he is survived by three nieces and two nephews.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Paul's Lutheran Church (311 E Broadway Blvd, Sedalia, MO 65301). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 16th 2024 from 12:15 PM to 1:30 PM at 3600 E 28th St, Sedalia, MO 65301.
Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Paul's Lutheran Church or St. Paul's Lutheran School in care of Heckart Funeral Home.
