He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Fuzzy" Waters and Bernice Waters (Dixon); and his siblings, Gregory Waters and Stephanie Harrison. He is survived by: his wife Ada Lorraine Gravitt; his sons, Marcus Waters of Kansas City, MO, David O. Waters, Jr. of Sedalia, MO and Delon Gravitt (Gina) of Kansas City, MO; his siblings, Roderick Waters (Charlotte) of Belton, MO and Renee Criss (Wayne) of Raytown, MO; and his mother-in-law Rosa Gravitt of Sedalia, MO. He is also survived by several grandchildren; six great-grandchildren.
