She was predeceased by: her parents, Marvin Goodwin and Kathryn Holtzen Goodwin; her husband John Jay Hangley; and her brother William "Bill" Goodwin. She is survived by: her son John C. Hangley of Denver, Colorado; and her siblings, Lyndon Goodwin (Sandra) of Richmond, Missouri and Marva Blubaugh (Steve) of Fredonia, Kansas. She is also survived by three nieces and nephews.
