She was predeceased by: her parents, Alberta Smith and Calvin Claxton; her son Michael Smith; her siblings, DeVat Smith and Melvin Claxton; and her granddaughter Marissa Willis.
She is survived by: her children, Donease Smith of Kansas City, Missouri, Terrell Willis (Christina) of Sedalia, Missouri. and Tanaeia Smith of Sedalia, Missouri.. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
