He was predeceased by: his parents, Cleo Thompson Bell and Margaret Eleanor Bell (Sands); his daughter Kathleen Bell; and his sisters, Daisey Stratton, Lucille Wells, Cleo McCune and Norma Jean Gilpin.
He is survived by: his wife Ellen Jean Inselman; his children, Charles E. Bell, II (Julissa) of El Paso, TX, Daniel T. Bell (Robin) of Sedalia, Jeanna (Bell) and Cissell (Rob) of Troy, MO; his grandchildren, Angie Deeter, Lisa Kutzner (Chad), Courtney Bell and Sarah Howell (Ryan); his great grandchildren, Jacob, Christian, Karson, Roz, Tucker Deeter, Cora, Amos Kutzner, Oaklyn Bell, Ayden and Riley Howell; his nieces, Mary Ann Davis, Markie Hart and Ellen Jean Donnell; and his nephew John Urton.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Broadway Presbyterian Church in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel, Sedalia.
