She was predeceased by: her parents, Roy Pollard Wood and Bertha Gertrude Wood (Fischer); and her brother Roy Wood. She is survived by: her husband John Roy Houston; her children, Herbert Roy Houston (Susan) of Smithton, Lanny Brian Houston (Penny) of Smithton, Cynthia Rae Anderson (Paul) of Smithton and Tracy Lynn Houston (Kristi) of Smithton; her brother Marvin Wood of Sedalia; and her grandchildren, Agusta, Leslie, Aaron, Kelsey, Joe, Alyssa, Kyle and Brittany. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Bethany Baptist Church or the Salem Cemetery Fund, care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
