He was predeceased by: his father Larry Walter; and his grandparents, John, Ernestine Atkinson, Carl and Jessie Walter.
He is survived by: his mother Toni Walter (Atkinson); his wife Anne M. Walter (Ramey); his stepchildren, Savannah Townsend and Clayton Townsend (Amber); his grandson Bennett Townsend; and his nieces and nephews, Katelyn, Kenady, Kirstan, Kemper, Khloie, Kalahia, Owen, Daegan, Kash and Silas.
In lieu of flowers and plants, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to Smithton Youth Sports Foundation in Petey's honor.
