He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Leo Essner and Rosa Essner (Urhahn); his wife Clara Essner (Diebold); his children, Carol Peters (Chris) of Cape Girardeau, Ralph Essner (Donna) of Scott City, Donald Essner (Clara) of Chaffee and Mark Essner (Anita) of Scott City; and his brothers, Herman Essner (Dorothy) of Saint, Vincent and John Essner. He was also cherished by twelve grandchildren, and sixteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Due to the Covid Pandemic, the family respectfully wishes that Mr. Essner's services be private and family only.
In lieu of flowers, memorials contributions can be made to the St. Augustine Catholic Church.
