He was predeceased by: his parents, Jack F. Lance and Ruby Anna Rice Lance; and his sister Carol Hagan. He is survived by: his son Daniel Lance (Kacey) of Scott City; his grandchildren, Blakeley Rae and Bostyn Jade Lance; his daughter Robin Clayton (Lawrence) of San Antonio; his close friend Kathy Spies of Scott City; and also Krista Spies.
