He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Short and Verna Mae Short (Rogers). He is survived by: his siblings, Raymond Short (Kathy) of DeSoto, Mark Short (Carol) of Jackson, Robert Short (Cammy) of Scott City, Missouri, Marie Short of Scott City, Missouri and Sue Mouser of Scott City, Missouri; and his nieces and nephews, Scott Sappington, Zach Short, Drew Short, Chris Short, Lisa Miget, Renee Sappington, Sydney Short and Mary Short. He is also survived by five great-nieces and nephews.
