It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Maxine Reed of Scott City, Missouri, who passed away on February 28, 2023, at the age of 104, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Harry Hinton and Carrie Kinder Hinton; her spouse R. E. "Gene" Reed; and her daughters, Dorothy Jean Taylor of Fenton, Kay Ellen Young (Gary) of St. Charles, Sally Rae Porch (Tim) of Scott City and Peggy Jo Reed. She was also cherished by five grandchildren; nine great grandchildren and a great great grandson.
