He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marion and Ella Lavetta Markland (Lane); his siblings, Dorothy, Mildred, Icy, Jeanie, Floyd, Bud and Charlie; his granddaughter Kristen; and his great grandchild Brayden.
He is survived by: his wife Karen Clettenberg; his children, Michael Markland of Scott City, Missouri and Denise League of Holland, Michigan; and his grandchildren, Ken Cunningham (Paige), Shelby League, Hailey League, Tyshawn Markland, Danielle Markland, Jacob League and Kate Kerley. He is also survived by six great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
