It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Leola Baker (Scott City, Missouri), born in Broseley, Missouri, who passed away on August 8, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Arnold and Cleora Arnold (Hill); and her siblings, Samuel Arnold, Elihue Arnold, Fred Arnold, Lura Mabrey, Irene Janes, Lorell Patterson, Areva Elliott and Viola Arnold.

She is survived by: her spouse Emmet "Bill" Baker; her children, Bill Baker (Jamie) of Scott City and Sherry Holder (Scott) of Scott City; her grandchildren, Kelly Hatcher (Cory), Morgan Baker, Ann Baker, Ashley Vetter and Ben Vetter; and her great grandchild Lyle Hatcher.

In-lieu of flowers, the family request that memorial donations be made to the Trinity Lutheran Church in Cape Girardeau, Missouri or to St. Jude.
