He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Ray and Lucille Starnes Ward; his wife Patsy Ann Mathis; and his son Glenn Ward. He is survived by: his children, Lynn Ward (Patty) of Scott City and Diane Fisher (Tom) of O'Fallon, Missouri; his grandchildren, Lucas, Gretchen, Tyler, Seth, Kristen, Kaitlin and Michael; his great grandchildren, Bennett, Brynlee, Brooklyn, Dexter, Aubrey, Maggie, Lucy and Palmer; and his sisters, Mildred Patton of Livonia, Nadine Rudkin of Gideon and Marj Brewsaugh of Odenton, Maryland..
In lieu of flowers memorial can be made to the First Baptist Church of Scott City.
